Jeff tries to remove part of a toolbelt that Charlie the black lab swallowed. Lindsay begins surgery on a Golden Doodle who is at the clinic to get spayed and have her mammary tumor removed.

However, Dr. Lindsay uncovers something lodged in Sparky's intestine that could be causing her loss of appetite. Jeff cuts opens up a patient's intestine and finds a host of nasty objects that could cause a fatal blockage and extensive scarring. Robin brings in her pooch Batman after he begins to feel the side effects of the medical marijuana chocolate bar he accidentally consumed.
